The game does leave the option to murder townsfolk for funsies open for those who want to be evil. Other than the Darkwood Bordello, the game remains PG and surprisingly safe on all other factors, if the player chooses to be a good person.

Alternatively, the player can choose to get rid of the Bordello's patron to free the wenches so that they can finally stop being prostitutes. Nothing changes in the content (except some really immodest women inside the building) but the player can choose to pay large sums of gold to the whore house. There is one exception to the sexual content, If the player chooses to go back to Darkwood about 3/4 of the way through the story (which the game gives no reason to do), they can eventually find the Darkwood Bordello: a whore house. Nothing is shown however, the screen turns black and you can hear the woman say things like 'So this is what a hero feels like.' However, the sexual content is completely off to the side, and you can go through the entire game multiple times without experiencing any of it or even knowing it is in the game in the first place. The sexual content is sometimes harder to get to than in a lot of other games, but it exists. There is sexual content in the game and there are a few characters in the game that wear immodest apparel. Otherwise, the combat feels more like hitting a piñata until the enemy does not get back up, with drops of blood on the ground popping up when someone is struck. The most violent points are a vertical thrust with a sword on an unconscious opponent and headshots from arrows (which are difficult to do unless you are shooting from a long distance) which can decapitate the victim. The game features combat that is really simplified.

Unlike many role playing games today, It does have a definite ending which is always a plus in my book. The game is excellent and very replayable. Players will use wit, combat, and magic in an awesome tribute to how amazing this game was in the early 2000s and how it unknowingly influenced the entire console RPG genre for years to come.

The story follows a hero who after being rescued from a bandit raid that killed his parents, learns to forge his own destiny. Fable Anniversary is a remake of Fable: The Lost Chapters that you can now play on Xbox 360/One.
